Woolworths Says Buying Warehouse Would Aid Foodstuffs Rivalry (Bloomberg.com)
Jan. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Woolworths Ltd., Australia`s largest retailer, said acquiring New Zealand`s Warehouse Group Ltd. would give it more scale to compete with Foodstuffs NZ Ltd. in the nation`s NZ$12 billion ($8.3 billion) grocery market.
