From Register Staff Napa Valley Water Polo is offering a spring camp for boys and girls in the 8-and-under, 9 to 12 and 13-14 age groups from March 6 to May 3. The camp will be held over 16 days, on Tuesday and Thursdays, for all age groups. The Silverado Middle School pool will be the location for beginners (8-and-under) from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.

With the Smith Swim Center still closed while the University assesses the roof`s structural problems, the women`s water polo team traveled to Harvard for its scheduled home game on Saturday and lost to No. 13 Hartwick College, 13-7. Though the 20th-ranked Bears held a 7-4 lead with under two minutes remaining in the third period, Brown allowed nine unanswered goals to finish the game.

LBSU`s women`s water polo team split the final day of the UC Irvine Invitational, defeating Michigan 10-6, before dropping its third one-goal loss of the season, 11-10 to Santa Clara in double overtime. By losing three of four, LBSU (4-5) finished in 14th place.

The UC Irvine women`s water polo team beat San Jose State, 8-5, in the fifth-place match of the UC Irvine Invitational at Anteater Aquatics Complex on Sunday.
